Organic Tribal Abstract Print with Rustic Earth Hues

This piece started on a book page, prepped with a layer of gesso to give it some texture and help the watercolors flow more smoothly. I then stained the paper with coffee to give it an aged look and add a touch of warm color. The coffee created unpredictable dark spots and wrinkles, which add to the charm. Afterward, I layered acrylics and watercolors, with some graphite-infused watercolor to give it a beautifully textured effect. For the finer details, I used gel pens, acrylic pens, metallic ink, white-out, and, of course, more coffee
